Andrew Scott
Andrew Scott joins Flock in September 2017 with our debut collection of wallpapers featuring his design- Linear. Andrew is an incredibly talented graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art and Design and originally went to art school to pursue his dreams of becoming a painter but switched to Textile Design as he wanted to see his work interpreted in a practical, functional form.
Drawing on his skill as an artist, Andrew's patterns often begin life as sketches or paintings and he is very influenced by the clean and simplistic architecture of harbours and seaside towns. Linear was inspired by the shapes, colours and textures of the houses in Burano, Italy, Andrew extracted lines and forms from these houses to create this simplistic and elegant repeat that translates so beautifully as wallpaper.
